Level up calibration

Try this.

If you calibrate the system it won’t be lost. Very easy to do. Level the unit using the manual buttons. Then follow the instructions. This solved my issue when the coach was new.

If I read your post correctly you put the landing gear down, disconnect, and then auto level. The autolevel may not have been properly calibrated. Dealer should be able to correct this.

It was said techs find it hard to work on the electric system. Those 'techs; should not change a light bulb.
Electric never leak, slides never creep out while traveling, slides never creep in winter storage.
On a rare occasion it may be needed to 're-home' the system. That takes all of 10 minutes. In the last 7 years (3 different 5ers) I had to do it 3 times.
The only thing I miss on the hydraulic is it levels a couple minutes faster.

When we got ours it was not level with Auto Level, so I had to manually level it and reset the slippery system by tapping the buttons. If you go to Lipperts website there instructions on how to re-calibrate the auto leveling system, since I did that in the beginning I have not had any issues.

Your camper must always be a little nose high before auto leaving will work if it is too low in front lower then level it will error out like others have said

This winter as I toured FL one time when I went to retract levelers after hook up I got a "Fault" and had to manuallly retrack jacks. OK, all worked ok the next stop. Then a day later the same thing happened so I went onlne and did some reading and then discovered the need to have the nose a bit high when starting the autolevel process. Thinking back, both times I got fault I was nose low when starting. The funny thing is the auto level process seemed to function just fine, it was when I went to auto retract that I got the fault. I now always look to have it a bit high and the system has been fine.

When we first got our unit (used) the level up worked fine. It is stored in a pole building with a perfectly level concrete floor. So when I unhook, the nose is always nose high. Years ago it started freaking out while trying to auto level. The nose would go down to the concrete and it would not auto level. I gave up trying to auto level it and just do it manually now. I think you have more control when manually leveling anyway.
