TV wiring troubles

I am the friend Dave was talking about. I tried everything. The rig is back at the Camping World, Lakewood, NJ location getting this and other things fixed. They said that they would have to pull a new wire to correct this. I will post the repair when they finish. Seems that the same person at the factory is putting all these unit tv together and needs training!!!!! Keystone has a big problem with quality control. Judging by what I have seen wrong with my Montana, 3810, I don't think they even have anyone who performs a quality control review of installations. Very disappointing!!!

Signal strength is everything. Hopefully they test the line with the proper equipment prior to doing surgery. I had the same problem and the shop said they would have to pull down ceiling panels to do the repair. That is when I hitched up and drove away. Fortunately, my fix was at the splitters/connectors at each end of that run.

You are correct about the lack of QC at assembly. When they let knuckle draggers do the construction, they should at least step up the inspections. Good luck and please do let us know how it turns out. If I were near you I would volunteer to do that repair.

Camping world sells them. It also takes a mod to your receiver.

You can pick up a usb hard drive anywhere. Call Dish, and it costs $40.00 to have it authorized. No monthly charge, though. Prob about $100 for the drive.
