I also have 2018 3121rl. I found a gas line under the unit that has a rubber hose with 90+ degree bend. This gas line went to the sideout on the drive side aft. I made the dealership replace with a 90 degree fitting and replace the hose. The dealership found 5 other unit on the lot with the same problem. I told the customer service poeple that this was a safety/eng. issue.

I would check for this issue

Carl actually called it on post #3. I just wasn't in a position to follow up on that at the time and forgot about it.

Kink in the gas hose

Just curious...took a pic of my hose bend and it is not kinked at present with the slide-out extended. Does this mean I might be in the clear for a while? Or is this one of those things that it is just a matter of time until it kinks?

Great question Mike. So far your rubber line looks good. I think ours was just to short for the application. They either needed a longer hose or put a 90 in that points to the slide out.

Amazing that something as simple as a gas line (safety!) cannot be run correctly.

I would try to fix ours if it had that tight turn by simply adding a 45 degree black iron coupling, street or conventional ell whichever matches. This in turn would remove that abrupt 90 degree turn and actually add an inch or two to the flex line usable length
