moisture beneath the bedroom slide
We have a Montana 3150 RL. The carpet on both sides of our bed is damp. We use a fan to dry it, but I am curious as to what might be causing this. Thanks!

If your bedroom is a slide, then slide seal failure, or caulking failure along the windows or strips at the top of the slide or along the outer edge would be what I would first look at.

We had the same issue in our previous Montana. Found that the caulking on the strip on the bottom of the outer wall of the slide was cracking allowing water to enter. A little silicone caulk and no more water.

Thanks. Makes total sense. We are in Texas right now and getting a lot of rain. Will get on it ASAP!

I would agree with the above. A crack in the sealant of this wide strip on the outside bottom of the slide has been a problem to many.

Same here. Caulked the top of that bottom seal and no more problems for 5 years now. I did have to replace the caulking once due to aging in the sun.

Same problem, same fix. All OK after 3 years.
We did pull the carpet back and dry the wood thoroughly before tacking the carpet back down.
