Fill Fresh water

RV is stored where there is no water. My question; Can I put water into the tank by using the winterizing hookup(from a portable container) by setting the selector to the tank fill position and turning on the pump? I would like to carry about 5 gallons for travel usage.

I don't actually know but I am inclined to think it will work.

Hi Dick,

Here's how I do it:

1. Connect a hose from faucet in the Convenience Center to the "Water" fill connection
2. Turn water fill valve from "Normal" to "Fill" position
3. Connect siphon hose from water container to "Winterize" hose connection
4. Turn valve to "Winterize" position
5. Turn on water pump
6. Turn on outside faucet cold water

This will draw water from the container, through the water lines in the trailer, to the outside faucet, then to the water fill connector and into the fresh water tank. It takes me about 3 minutes to pump 5 gallons.

Be sure to turn water valve back to "Normal" from "Fill", also turn off the "Winterize" valve and outside faucet.

Doing this from memory, I could have missed something, but I don't think I did

Dave
