You need to make the pictures smaller (forum requires 640 x 480 max I think) and describer what we are looking at, front slide?. Was the rig in sub-zero temperatures? Just curious about the cracking? What year and model rig would help also?

Shows it is a 2005 - 3500RL and since he was checking the propane I would guess this is under the bedroom slide.

800 x 600 is maximum size for pictures, sometimes best to make them 640 x 480 to limit space required to display.

Appears the material became brittle for some reason, age, cold whatever it is a mess for sure.

I hope you can get the pictures sized to make it easier to see your problem.

Another trick you can use to see the images better once they're posted is to hold the control key, then use your mouse wheel to scroll to a better size. Works with both IM and Chrome, plus Chrome has a "reset to default" option that will pop up.

Sorry to see your cracking. I guess duct tape might hold it together to get it to a dealer for repair, but I think I would slice the corners and cut it away so it doesn't jamb the slide in or out. Makes me glad I live in Washington state. We rarely see temps in the 20's.

Good luck, I sure hope it works out for you!

P.S. if you hold the shift key and use the mouse wheel, it should slide the scroll bar left and right.

Tractor if it were me I would be trying to find some of that material and fixing it myself. Might be worth getting a quote but you are fortunate it is the bedroom slide which is small enough and light enough you and a couple of friends could take it out to work on it on the ground.

I wonder if yours has rollers or if it just slides on the carpeted flooring like mine does.

Hope you are able to get it fixed at minimal cost. Sounds like you took care of the rest of it otherwise you would not get that many years on the battery or tires. Good luck.

I had that happen to my "05 but not nearly that bad. I grabbed the staple gun and re-attached the cracked area and lived with it until I traded.

That happened to our 06 3400 and it was not even in very cold weather. Gorilla glue and staples. Artic package works great...

Have never seen anything like that. Looks like someone took a boxknife to your trailer.

Thinking of replacing it with a piece of ice guard material they make for roofing underlayment. It's adheasive backed and sticky as hell.Would love to trade but I still owe more on it than a new one cost.Damn things cost a fortune in 05 just like houses what you paid 200.00 for in 05 is worth 100.00 today.Had the monty custom built 63,000

get to a sept. rally and see if you can get into the Montana service center. but right now duct tape and staples are the answer.

You're lucky. Our 06 only lasted a shade past the warranty. Fortunately, Keystone volunteered to fix it at one of the fall rallies.
