Galley tank valve not staying closed

At first I thought one of the kids might be pulling the galley valve handle, but, after watching it closely, I'm convinced that it comes open while travelling. I've been making sure it is closed and when we reach our destination it is always open. Any ideas on how to keep it closed other than a bungee cord from the handle to the frame?

Probably the best solution is to get up under there and take things apart to check that nothing is blocking the valve gate, the seals are good or something else. This is not an unusually uncommon problem.

The good news is that at least this is a gray tank and not the black tank. And I hope the tank is kept empty when traveling (less mess).
