Slide problem

We have a 2015 3610RL. The slide that has the refrigerator, stove and television doesn't go in and out evenly. The end toward the front end of the RV slightly delays going out after the back end starts. The slide is not all the way out on the front end on the inside when fully extended. Any ideas?

Under your slide there is only one hydraulic piston. What synchronize the left and right side is a horizontal shaft that has cog gears on either end. These cog gears mesh with what I call a rack gear (horizontal with teeth). I would look for one that stripped or loose.

Mine was the adjustment itself. There is only one ram that moves each slide on these things for models that use hydraulics. John

We replaced the gear at the hydraulic cylinder. Two teeth were missing on it. It's not bad now, but it still doesn't seem like it's out all the way.

When teeth are sheared, you lose the slide being in or out on both ends. The slide has to be pushed fully open before the new gear is put in place or it will always be what you have now. I think you can unpin the square connecting tube between the slide gears, push the slide all the way out from inside and then re-pin it again. Good luck with this chore. John

We did that too, jcurtis934, but when we push the button to bring it in, back end of the slide starts to move out and then the front end starts. We just can't seem to get them to start at the same time.

Same here 3610RL 2015. Same problem. Our Dealer contacted Lippert and the have a kit to install to correct the teeth from jumping. Lippert knows this is a problem and sent the kit overnight to the dealer to install. ( NO CHARGE )
