AC water leaking

First trip with new 3611rl. Turned on AC and water come out of return and some from ceiling..not good. Could this be condensation? It was a good amount of water.

Often the ac unit gasket is not seated properly. If traditional AC compressor vent, drop the inside cover, 4 long bolts will be exposed, try tightening them up a bit. If the new quiet air, maybe someone else on the forum has tackled those and knows how to snug up the gasket, I have not "yet". You can also pull the cover on the roof, and check to see if the bottom leak holes have been blocked by debris.

Sounds like the first thing to check is whether the drain holes in the unit are plugged up and then whether it's snugged down to the gasket that seals between the unit and the rig. Since it's new there's nothing wrong with making the dealer fix it. I see I got in a little late, but the advise is the same.

Had that happen during PDI on the front AC. This was not the quiet air unit in the rear but the front one. Water was dripping like crazy and even coming out of the ducts. It was as 1retired06 stated. They reseated the unit and all was well. Since it was a PDI I made the dealer open the ceiling to verify no mold or other muck before I signed the paperwork..

I just replaced my gaskets on our due to the same problem. Our unit was over tightened. It pulled the drain holes down against the rubber roof where it couldn't drain. The pan then would fill up and overflow in to the trailer. It turns out on the Coleman I had installed, there are little yellow tabs the tell you when the gasket has been tightened the correct amount. I pulled the unit, pulled the old gaskets off and transferred the yellow tabs. With it tightened the correct amount the unit is sitting up about a 1/2 inch from the roof. Toughest part of the job was cleaning off the remains of the old gasket.
