Well, I added a second qt of fork oil and the popping is STILL with us. Am thinking of getting a qt of the Cat product and try it in addition to the 2 qts of fork oil.

Dave, you may want to wrap several layers of cloth or some barrier to slow temp changes and see what that does for you. I have wondered how much air goes into solution in the tank as we travel over some.of our nasty roads...but I never wanted to wait before leveling. On our southwest trip this year, I did get limited popping twice, but that was all and have gotten none since those two cases. But my popping was major before adding one quart of the cat fluid. Someday I may add another just to see if the odd "blue moon" pop goes away. I have started to use the large pipe insulation just to keep the rams clean and I think this might work to reduce temp changes...but you would need to have a bunch of small pieces that you could add whenever the next setup was different than the last. Just a note regarding adding the fork oil, it takes some time to be effective. The slides and the LevelUp cylinders need to be cycled (in/out up/down) several times to distribute the foil oil through out the entire hydraulic system before it has any effect.

As a preventive measure, Lippert recommends topping off with fork oil if you hydraulic fluid level is low. It's not unusual for trailers to ship with enough fluid in the reservoir to operate, but not be filled to the proper level.

Thank you both for your input. The levelers and the slide-outs have been cycled MANY times since the first qt and at least 6 times since the addition of the second qt. We are full timers and rarely stay in one place over 1 month.

We added the Cat fluid and it most certainly reduced the excessive popping we were experiencing. From time to time we still experience a bit so we will be adding another bottle for next season, after all we still have a lot of room in our reservoir.

One qt of cat oil fixed my problem in a 2013 3402RL. Little to no popping since added and cycled for a while
