Black Tank

Anyone ever had a problem with the black tank draining, then not draining on the next scheduled dump. I have flushed my black tank to the top three times with a hose in the commode. Next time I try to drain, nothing comes out. The valve slide seems to be working working, and I can feel a little resistance which seems to indicate the valve is opening and closing.

Anyone know where the black tank valve is on a 2011 3400rl.

Tks in advance.

Yes. Problem was the flush valve remained open. Buildup was the result. Have no experience with a 3400.

On my 3150, the tanks are side by side in the area above the 3" PVC sewer connection. The grey and black tank drain valves are both between the tanks at the outlets and run on into a 3" Tee then on to the sewer connection. 4 bolts hold the blade of the valve on to the body. Each side of the blade has an oring type of seal. There is ususally a set screw holding the cable on the valve blade itself.

Does it help the flow if you increase landing gear height? My guess would be debris in tank blocking flow sometimes. John
