Black streaks on sides of slideouts

I read how to clean these somewhere, but can not find it while searching. Any ideas. Oh, they are from the seals on the side of the slides.
Also, I tried WD-40 and it works, but wondered if it messes up the walls.

Crystal boat soap from west marine works very well full strenght on these. I don't get the streaks anymore since I stopped using the seal lube I got from camping world. John

After you get the slide outs clean, put some baby powder on the seals to keep the them from sticking to the slide outs.

Mineral oil works great & also lubricates the seals.
