Slide won’t go out

We have a 2015 Montana High Country 356BH. The large living room slide won’t go out. The motor runs and tries to move it, but the cables aren’t moving. They are on the rollers.

If the motor is running and the sprocket that moves the chain isn’t turning there is something in the gear box broken. It could be a half moon key, a stripped gear or something else. Is the shaft that turns the sprocket turning? If it’s not turning the only way to know is to take the gear box apart.

Thanks. That’s what we’re thinking. The big problem is with the slide in, we can’t reach the gear box as it’s against the outside wall. Hoping we can get a tech tomorrow.

On my HC I can take the front off the wood trim. There are I think 4 screws holding the front on.

Could also be a cable adjustment.
