Cabinet doors & counters showing their age

2007 3400RL. The DW is extremely neat, especially in the kitchen, always wipes spills, etc. immediately. Would like to put something on the kitchen island counter top to freshen it up, and the cabinet doors (I know the trim is not real wood but the doors are). TIA for any advice.

We used Murphy's oil soap on the doors. Freshened them up but if any drips on the counter top wipe it off immediately. If you don't you will have to really scrub to remove the spot it leaves behind. We have never had the need but others on this forum have recommended BarKeepers Friend for the counter tops.

We too use Murphy's on the woodwork. I also use a good auto wax (Meguire's Marine)on the counter tops for protection. This wont repair damage but it will lessen, not fully stop future wear.

Then, if handy, you can strip and refinish the doors and either make yourself or have a kitchen counterto shop make a new one but at quite an expense
