Fire place - heat source?
We now are full timers and have a 2014 3610RL. We bought it last September and have been full timing for 3 months, mostly in Phoenix while we finished up our last bit of business. Obviously this time of year in Phoenix a fire place isn't necessary - both AC are a must though We are now in the mountains and we use the fire place but it doesn't produce any heat. The remote only has on and off; so, the question is do all the fire places also produce electric heat or is ours just a visual fire place?

I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to put out heat also check around the fireplace for an access panel where you can run it without remote.

It’s an electric heater just like the ones from Walmart.

If it's like mine look at the bottom about 2" the full width of fire place. At top of this is a finger flange that you pull and the 2" piece will hinge down, You will then see a knob that adjusts temperature.

You have some good advice from psomers above. Many units had the rotary knob to adjust the temperature and the basic on/off remote.
We loved the layout of our 2015 3610 but had no end of problems with the refer and decided on a new unit with residential fridge.
Congrats and enjoy.

Thanks everyone. I'll try and adjust the control. I do have the 2" flange on the bottom and the finger flange at the top.
