This has been around for a few years but it is rearing its ugly head again so maybe this is worth the post:

Any virus is a threat, so if you are concerned visit the web site DCWG.ORG and follow the instructions. Make sure you use the instructions for the PC or the MAC, depending which you are using. I clicked and went to the English site and I'm "green." (okay).

The newsman on GMA was talking about a virus and referred listeners to http://www.dcwg.org/ to see if our computers are infected.

Of course I encourage everyone to have a very good virus protection program, but not all virus programs protect against malware/badware, so check to see if yours does.

Don't start "Government conspiracy" theories either. It's not.

I had never heard of it until yesterday when I read a story about it in the paper. Went to the web site and clicked on the link to check mine. Checked green for mine also.
Had not noticed any thing wrong and my anti virus was (seemingly) still running ok. But can never be too careful.
