Had tire Minder. It alerted us to high and low pressures just fine. The charger developed a short and took out a fuse on the truck. I am a bit less forgiving of it now.
For the price, I expect a longer life than what it had.

Yep have had the TST for years and it has saved my but several times. Also have a dash cam. Two items I would no be without.

Just installed the Tire Minder Smart TPMS. Mounted the signal booster in the front battery compartment which provides a strong signal in the cab. Installed in less than an hour. Agree with checking the tires at every stop. No room for complacency.

Its your money . Spend it how you want but so far they are not 100% full proof.
People have had these things and still have had problems. I have picked up nails in tires before and as luck would have it it didnt leak around the nail. Funny how that happens. I do know if I find a nail in my tire that I need to fix the tire and I do that. What did people do before these gadgets came on the market.

Nothing is 100% and having a Tire monitor does not mean one can stop visual inspection and maintenance . The tire monitor is another tool for safe RV'ing and IMO a good one..

They would drive over a nail or piece of glass , lose pressure in a tire until it finally ripped itself to pieces, and tear up the side of their trailer. Or, if you were lucky, lose pressure slowly,until the tire lost it's load carrying capacity, and just destroy the tire and wheel. But, yeah, it's your money; spend a little on a preventative measure now, or spend a lot later on a tire, wheel and maybe new side panels on your trailer. A leak in a tire, with the drop in pressure, is the leading cause of sudden blowouts. Tire pressure monitors will definitely stop the vast majority of blowouts.

We have an EEZTire TPMS on our 38ft 5er and truck. When we triple tow with our side by side ATV on its trailer I put the front tire sensors from truck on the ATV trailer. My DW saw the air pressure going down on an ATV trailer tire which saved us from what could have been a bad situation. I have a TPMS signal repeater in the 5er basement which works well.

We have the EEZTIRE monitor. What I like about it is the adjustments. You can set it for tire pressure and temperature. It displays individual info per tire in 5 second increments. It alarms if any tire falls outside of the preset settings. Also the batteries are replaceable. My rig is 35' and I have an 8' truck bed plus an extended cab. I don't have problems losing the sensor signals.

Another happy TST 507 Flow Through user, While I have yet to have a tire problem, it at least gives me a good indicator of tire temps --- which of course is an early warning for pressure loss and possibly bearing overheat/ failure. I'm sure that some other brands work equally as well.

Adequate tires too
The tires that came on our 3624RE were just barely adequate for the empty weight of the trailer. Lost both tires on the DS after 4500 miles. They were E rated and should have been G. I replaced them with Goodyear LT G rated tires and am happy with those. Added Eezee tire temp and pressure monitors as well. The rig is a little long for the wireless so will be adding the repeater before next trip. I think watching the temperature is as important as the pressure. I still do a visual each stop, but then I did that with the last set as well. The blowout did a lot of damage to the skirt when it went, so you can’t be too cautious.

Its easier to say Oregon and Washington and East coast states dont allow triple tow. Florida may if you have out of state so I have heard. A google search will confirm. We have triple towed from Idaho to Arizona where we have sowbirded..

How about length how long are you.I know states can vary but 65 feet is average.We are 56 feet truck and RV with car in tow we are more than 65 feet.

TPMS is just another tool for gathering data on your machine, which helps to keep you informed of the status of your vehicle! If anything, it makes me much more aware of and responsible for my tires!

We use Tireminder. We noticed one of the RV tires was loosing pressure/air; tire had a piece of metal in sidewall. Tireminder saved us from any damage to RV. We also noticed when outside air Temperature goes up (ie 90+ degrees) so does tire temperature go up (ie 88 degrees).

We use tire tracker system
We have a 2017 montana 3731FL. We use tire tracker system on montana and our 2017 F350 truck. 10 sensors in total (including spare tires). The system was easy to install and pair sensors. Customer service has been very good. It monitors both pressure and temperature and has worked well for us
