Fuel prices

Did anyone else notice the price increase for diesel fuel over the past 48 hours?? Seems to have jumped up .15 - .20 cents a gallon, getting close to $3 a gallon again.

Montana - I give that a thumbs down!

I did notice, but we are across state - I thought it was just our location but maybe not. I also pulled into a little gas station that still had 500ppm diesel and you should have the the truckers lined up to get it.

No..It is November 12, 2006. Closer to Jan 1,2007. More and More stations are moving to the new fuel in anticipation of that date. In this area we have been on the new fuel since June 2006 and diesel fuel has most always been in the 2.799 to near 3.00 per gal range. Wait till jan 2nd 2007 and see what happens...

Yes, diesel is up around 5 cents )$2.60 to $2.65) a gallon here on the western slope of CO. I filled up yesterday at Safeway with the 10 cent discount and paid $2.51. Today is the last day for the discount,if you buy $50 in groceries. Our all knowing courts have disallowed it. Brad, the LSF is getting hard to find here too.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Jerry

Here in our little wide spot in the road the fuel prices change almost daily. Early in the week gas and diesel were the same price - $2.59. Now diesel is $2.63 and gas stayed at $2.59. Down the road a ways and the prices are different yet.

I just filled up at $2.33/Gal in Boerne, Texas at the WalMart. In San Antonio, the price is about $2.49/gal.

Hasn't gone up down here in SW Florida. At the Shell station I use $2.56 per gal. The Chevron next door still is at $2.69. It is also the ULSD 15ppm.

Filled up yesterday in Denver for $2.36, today the same station is charging $2.59. I'm cynical by nature, but I hate it sometimes when I'm right.

Wait! Sorry I forgot, I live in Washington. Home of the highest price for diesel fuel in the nation. Saw this afternoon it is around $2.94 in town. I am sure by next week it will be back over $3 a gallon again. I did some house cleaning today and found some receipts for a trip I took back in summer of 2003, diesel was $1.36 a gallon, cost me less than $35 to fill the tank. Oh the memories. =)

OUCH!!! I was complaining about $2.40/gallon here!!! I bring this site up while driving - http://www.motortrend.com/gas_prices/ - to see where I can shave a few cents off the price per gallon.

Afraid not Rich. The new fuel may cause a price increase but most all our neighbor stations ARE NOT pumbing the NEW fuel and yet the price still went up.

Here, in Page Az, it is $2.75/9 - In St. George, Ut, it was only $2.47/9 (before the elections) - less then 180 miles away. I'm wondering what the politics x factor is...

In the last couple days diesel has gone to $2.79 and gasoline raised to $2.63. And they want us to believe we're not being manipulated?!

We did our annual wine buying trip up along the shores of lake Erie today, over 200 miles on primarily I-90 East and West/Diesel fuel was the cheapest I have seen it for a long time around here..2.599 and 2.499 at Flying J. Of course Gas is at 2.139 so the gap is still wide.
