Top of the Hill in Waring Texas

After a very pleasant afternoon meeting Jim and Susan James (Ozz) we departed San Antonio this afternoon for a week in Waring, Texas. We are having a Good Sam rally here next week and wanted the extra time for some walking, golf, reading and just plain doing nothing. After the rally we are planning on driving on to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountain National Park for a few days.

This is a great park with plenty of room for large rigs. Although it has cooled somewhat to preclude swimming, the park does have a hot tub.

Been there my friend, it is indeed a very nice place with a very Nice view. And as you stated, just down the street is a great home style eating establishment.
