Leaking slide

We own a 2012 3402RL. With the slide all the way out, it leaks. We live in AZ. After the first rain and the one year warranty expiration, Montana, Keystone would do nothing. There was so much water coming in that it filled the lamp over the dining room table with water. Then it dripped onto the table ruining the finish. And then onto carpet. We purchased a 5 year Diamond policy from a company in Florida at the time of purchase. They said it wasn't their problem, it's a manufacturer defect. So,nobody would help us.. I attempted a repair myself, undoing the screwed down metal strip on top of the slide and adding sealant under it. No good. Next camping trip with rain, same leak. More silicone. Still didn't work. Last week in Colorado with more sealant and the slide out, Noah's Arc began. We had water coming in a stream as big as your baby finger until we could get the slide in. We're frustrated. The slide is perfectly level when extended. The outer seal is fully open and touching the slide. No bubbles on the roof or obvious leak points. Please advise a solution. I'm thinking about having a reputable repairman fix it and then sue Keystone for the cost.

If your year of rig has four square plastic pieces on the outside corners check to see if they are sealed and if the strip under them is sealed. I've never heard of them leaking like that on the top, but leaks like that on the bottom are common in bedroom slides.

It sounds like the leak mite be wear the side wall and roof come together! We had a problem like that on a SOB I used Eternabond tape on the roof & up the back side of the wall and never had a nether problem the newer Montana's have tape there to cover the screws already.
