Home for a few days and back on the road

We've been home for a little over a week from campground hosting at Fort Mountain state Park. We had a great time but had to get hjome for the birth of our 3rd grandchild.

She was born on July 2nd. She weighed 7 lbs. 3 ozs. and was 20 and 1/2 inches long. Her name is Ellie Grace. Baby and mom are both doing well. we are truly grateful for the this blessing to our family.

We'll be heading out again on Wednesday the 13th for Pigeon Forge, TN and a family reunion and then on to Manassas, Virginia to visit our daughter. After that it's off to Pennsylvania for a wedding and then off to Tampa, FL to visit our other daughter.

We'll be keeping the road hot and will not have access to the internet.

Hope you all are having a great summer!!

Lamar and Debbie, Congrats on the new grand daughter.

Where in Penna will you be?? Maybe we can get together if you're anywhere near the Reading/Allentown area.

CONGRATULATIONS! That is really great news. Being grandparents is one of the neatest things that I have ever had the pleasure to do. You can spoil them, love them to death, then send them home for the parents to deal with. Have a great trip and happy RVing...Kathi

Congratulations on the new grandbaby. We are also truly blessed with 4 grandchildren all from our only daughter. Her last weighed over 11 pounds and was born at home! We have the good fortune to live next door and see them often. When we take off in the Montana, it is usually to get some quiet time.

Congrats on the new granddaughter. I envy you as I love little babies. My two "little" granddaughters are now 18 and 19. Guess I will have to wait for the great grand babies. This is what happens when you start this parenting thing when you are too young! I was still working when they were little and didn't ge to play as much as I wanted. Now that I'm retired --- no babies. Have fun with them.
Happy trails...............

Congratulations, Lamar and Debbie! I agree with everyone else, grandkids are terrific. I remember many years ago something I read in Readers Digest - "Your children are your investment in life; your grandchildren are the dividends."

You have a busy schedule there. Hopefully somewhere in there you'll be able to check back in.
