traded 2955 for new 3400rl
Last week we stumbled upon a 3400rl built in Sept/06 with the equipment we were looking for and at the right price.
Our new 3400 does not have they LCD tv, nor the 7000 lb axles but those two things we could live without. Because we live in Canada and the exchange rate hasn't been good lately it would have been over $6000.00 more to order a new one with the same eqipment. Last fall, when this one was built, our Canadian dollar was at record high values against the American buck and the exchange rate can make or break you when you are importing a product.
Our new unit includes the Ventian Gold, w/d prep., fireplace, central vac., alum. wheels, hi-gloss fiberglass and dual pane windows. ALL these decisions were made easy with the valueable information gleaned from all of you on this forum, Thank-you all.
The only thing we won't miss about the 2955 is the hide-a-bed blocking the door when friends/family stay over.
