WINDOW SHADES
OK, I will try this again. The last time it was deleted or something. Why? 3 of my original window shades are broken and I would like to get them repaired or have blinds installed instead. Where can I have this done? I will be near Ocala, Fl all winter. I have a 2007 Montana 3475. Any help is appreciated.
John

I'm done with window shades and my next major improvement is MCD shades. Go to their website and, if your interested, they may have someone in Florida who can install them for you. Otherwise, like us, it will be a trip to Texas.

Irvine Shade & Door Inc. in Elkhart sells slow rise shades similar to the MCDs. That's what came in our SOB and they work as advertised.

We changed out all of our Day/Night shades for the MCD shades. Well worth the money and VERY Happy with them!! Here is their link www.mcdinnovations.com
We went to their factory for the install. Got there on a Monday and done by Thursday. They have a place for you to park your rig and hook up to Electric ONLY! Just make sure your Fresh Water Tank is full. They are excellent to work with and extremely friendly! Great Company to do business with!

I checked and they won't sell to individuals and they don't install so you have to find a dealer.

OK, sorry. Just knew Irving made shades very similar to MCDs, but didn't know they wouldn't sell retail. There is an outfit in Elkhard that does intall them, but again don't know if they sell to individuals, and I don't recall their name.

I can only tell you who I don't recommend for the standard day/night accordions. I bought a replacement through camping world and it is junk. I had to retie the knots the day of install then the cord broke during the first week.
