I use a double home set like you would get at lowes or home depot, along with an On the Go water softener.

A Whole house filter outside to a Flowpure water softner. Then under the Kitchen sink I have a water filter that takes out all the impurities.

I use the Hydro Life RV/Marine Exterior Water. I mounted the filter on the side of convenience center just inside storage door. Ran a short hose from filter to fresh water input. Use longer hose input to filter and leave it attached. Notched bottom of convenience to get hose over to hole to the outside and pull it out to faucet. Pull back when time to move and store in side compartment ready for the next time. Put a brass screw in plug on end of hose to keep water from getting all over compartment.

I have a 5 filter setup that is simpler than it sounds. Here's the breakdown:
1) A clone of the blue Camco filter that is common. Essentially a 100 micron filter that snags the largest pollutants from the city water.
http://amzn.to/2u0TEc4
2) Then a 5 micron filter for much smaller sediment.
http://amzn.to/2pj2Jr2
3) Next is a 1 micron filter, going even smaller.
http://amzn.to/2IzsDzx
4) Then a 0.5 micron carbon block filter which gets even finer and removes the chlorine taste.
http://amzn.to/2pkez4S
5) Finally, a KDF GAC filter for ultimate purification.
http://amzn.to/2pkeGxk
All of this is contained in a pair of canister kits ( http://amzn.to/2FP7wYk) and held up on 2 stands ( http://amzn.to/2pjwZml).
I check the filters every 3 months and usually replace #2 and #3 which are very evidently discolored (#1 also get replaced at that time). Filter #4 remains fairly clean for much longer but I replace that at 6 months. #5 gets replaced yearly.
Quick connects make hooking up a breeze. Our water is the cleanest and best tasting no matter where we are.

Rv water filter store...jumbo filter housing 5 micron modified carbon block feeding jumbo 0.9 micron absolute ceramic filter. These are fed by 10 micron sediment into double size on the go water softener. Too many places have extremely crappy water.

I have never used a filter in any of my RVs or homes with no issues. I do have the small screen in my hose inlet.

Water filter store as above but only use it when at our winter site in Florida. The water test well within purity specs but taste really bad. We use the filter system to remove the bad taste.

I use the blue ones ~ when on sale at CW cheapest you will find. We do not drink or cook with CG water. We use bottled 99.9% of the time or from the FW tank.

Agree. I use camco inline filter. We use only bottled water for drinking or cooking. If i were drinking the water then it would be more elaborate but i don't see any reason to spend a lot of money on filters for the way we use it.

I installed this one from the water filter store mentioned above. And then went back and bought the clear reservoir so I could see if I actually got into heavily contaminated or discolored water.

You can buy a meter that checks water purity. We found that the water here in our part of Florida although it taste bad to us exceeds the purity specs for bottled water. We found that to be the case in many, many areas. We do not used bottled water as we find there is no need to.

Nice looking setup. I am considering something similar. Did you buy the short hoses somewhere or just make your own?

Golfmedik. I'm curious what looks like a black box in the upper left of your convenience center is used for?

As I notice the hose clamps,my bet is he made them to his own custom cut lengths.
