We also have their 14 ft sport boat with a 30 hp, last trip we had two bikes(bmw 650 & Dr 650), kayak & motor boat, it all fit. The boat is a 2001 & in great shape. Their materials seem pretty good & their customer service is top notch.

Is there room in the garage with the Goldwing in it for a Kayak or a couple of bicycles (one on each side of the motorcycle)?

Does anyone have a photo you could share of their Montana with the garage loaded?

Thanks,

Just put or S X S in for a trial fit, so far so good. still have some room under it & in the bed.

That has answered so many questions for me! Thanks for posting those pics of the SxS. We are looking to purchase one but was afraid it wouldn't fit. Would you kind sharing what year and model the SxS is please?

I also was able to get a CFMoto trail width 500 in mine but had to use ratchet straps on front supension and let air out of front tires.

Its a 2017 arctic cat trail limited 700, its 50 inches wide, I did have to deflate the front tires. Once in I place a piece of foam on top & lower the bed fits real nice & snug, actually letting the air out of the tires helps keep it from bouncing. I have always let some air out on our atvs when trailering& then snug down the suspension. The nice thing with a trail width model is that it will fit in the truck bed so if we have to travel to get to a trail no problem, also its a very capable machine!

Any issues on the bike "bottom out" coming up the ramp? Or what steps do you take to prevent? Looking to get one of these biker bars and interested in hearing your overall success/horror stories. Thanks!

2011 Harley Davidson Street Glide trike fits with 1.5 inches on each side at the door. Drove it in but will back in in future as easier to exit garage. Bed does not come all the way down but is to be in up position for traveling anyway. Also need to raise the trailer nose as exhaust will bottom before rear wheels hit the ramp.

Resurrecting an old thread:

Does anyone Full Time with a 380/381/382TH? I have a BMW K1200LT and am trying to decide how much trouble it is going to be to load and unload it everytime I want to ride reading about how you need to raise the front of the 5ver (not sure of my clearance, but it is pretty low). Also thinking of just using it as a garage for bicycles, tools and such. Any pics and advice from fulltimers in these rigs? Thanks

I have the 381TH model although I am not a full timer I have used my rig a bunch hauling my bike. I have HD Ultra and I have to raise the front of my rig to get the bike in and out. If I don't the bottom of the bike will bottom out if the ramp door has too high and apex. Originally I have a HD Fat Boy Lo and that bottomed out when I first tried to load it with the rig attached to the truck. So since the Ultra is way heavier I don't want to attempt it to see what happens!

Looked your bike up and has pretty low clearance so I would assume you would also have to do the same on raising the front of the rig to lower the door entry.

A couple of my buddies that I RV with have Toy Haulers and they have started doing the same thing with raising the front of their rigs to get the bikes in and out. Makes is so much easier. Also they have had a couple times where their pipes dug into the ground when taking the bike out because of the slant of the door.

Added picture of my Harley in the rig. You can see how low the ramp is when I have the front of the rig raised. Makes it very easy to load and unload. I have a custom windshield so I can also lower the bed completely when the bike is loaded. Note not much room left over if you have a large bike in the garage.

Hope this helps.

Keith

We don't fulltime, yet! I carry a 4 seat golf cart in ours. The only minor issue is we have to unload it to use the bed when traveling. We just use one of the coaches and it works fine for a night here and there. The golf cart is high enough so I can load and unload hooked up.

I have a 2019 381th and a 2017 Ultra. Even though I full time I don't travel every week or every month, but have traveled quite a bit. I have not noticed any height issue, but then again I only load/unload when hooked up to the truck. Never hit when going in/out or off the ramp door. Never tried while disconnected but I can see where it may have an issue.

We seem to have overestimated the size of 381 garage. Im not sure why we thought the kayaks were smaller than they are, but you can probably load the bike first, then slide a kayak down either side.

And Renegade, awesome to see that you were able to fit your SXS in the garage. We were actually thinking about getting one, and moving the kayaks to a hitch hauler, but werent sure it would fit.

The problem im running into now is the rest of the "stuff" i "need" to bring with us. House goes on the market in 2 weeks and we are going full time. Parting with all of the stuff in my house garage to load the rv garage has been challenging... So no SXS until i manage to part with all of that

Did you have to drop or lower a tank to install your biker bar? Thanks

Loading/unloading bike

No I don’t raise or lower nose to load /unload my bike. All I do is stand up as I get about half way so there’s no weight on bike I only bottomed out one time and that was first time loading
