Do we need tickets for the peanut gallery? Maybe we need a beer booth?

Sounds like this could become a MOC fund raiser.

Mark,

How nice of you to volunteer to be the "Beer Booth" coordinator!!

Hooray!

For those of you who care, there are only 46 days, 4 hours, 44 minutes, and 23 seconds until the Quartzsite Rally!

WOW!!!! Sure glad we read all this and got updated. Dennis, so glad you are "feeling" so good. Now we know where your son and daughter-in-law gets their imagination from! Pam, we are bringing hot buttered rum, perhaps the peanut gallery could use some!! Also, with Michael around, who needs scaffolding, just pull up a truck and he can stand in the back!!!! By the way Dennis, we will be at the opposite end of the circle from you this year, just like last year, just in case!!! Robbie, and how many days, can't wait!!!

Just a thought will there be a vendor to sell sandwiches at the "burning graphic" display? Always got to have a little munchies offered to go with the fun.

Off topic...
Robbie is that your rig in the top right corner of your new picture with 16 chocks behind each wheel to keep it from rolling back?

See you next month and Merry Christmas...

Michael, looks like Goosenecks State Park in Utah by Mexican Hat. We were there last April.

Dennis,

Exactly. Goosenecks is one of our favorite boondocking spots. We go back there almost every year for at least a week. We were there in April too!

The quote below was taken from a thread over on the RV Net Forum. It would appear that there may be fewer people and vendors at Q this coming year. Still should be fun.

Dennis

"The BLM has reported the Long Term Visitors RVers are down about 45%. So if you are thinking about Q get on down here as there is plenty of room and no traffic problems.
The Pit Stop reports their volume is down about 40%. Now all you have to do is drive on West Main by the Main Event vender area and you will see almost no venders set up. The Main Event is looking like a vacant lot for the most part. The rumor is they might of priced themselves out of the market. Now to be sure, there are other areas that do have venders, like the Tyson Wells, who always seem to do will as they just know how to do this vender thing. Anyway the traffic counts are down...."

I started reading this thread to see if I could find info on the date/time for Visitors Day, since Don and I will probably be parked elsewhere in Q but want to see our MOC friends. Doug H said it would be on Jan 26 in an email message several months ago, but I see the dates for the rally are Jan 17-25. Could it be that you want visitors to come after the rally's over??? Or is it that Doug's afraid that our SOB is prettier than his? (NOT!)

NOW I want to know when the graphic removal/burning party will be! I wouldn't miss it for the world! LOL!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

P.S. Just noticed that old message from Doug was for LAST year's rally! Sorry, Doug, I guess you didn't mean to steer me wrong after all. So, what's this year's date/times (for both events)?

Hi Gypsy.

As the "peanut gallery coordinator" I wanted you to know the decal replacement event is scheduled for January 18th. The coordinator for the actual work to be done will have to let us know what time. Then the peanut gallery can get organized. Dick and Toni are bringing the yellow tape for crowd control so I'm sure you'll be able to find us at this event.

Looking forward to seeing you again.
