First trip out with new 3721r on Friday.Cant hardly wait.Question please.Saturday morning expected to be 27degrees.should I fill fresh water tank and not hook up city water, just use pump?Should I leave dump valves opened or closed? Also, should the three tanks have fluid in them before turning heat pads on .Thanks for any suggestions

how long is it going to be below freezing? If it warms up during day, you should be ok. I always put RV anti freeze in the tanks to keep valves from freezing. Yes you should have some fluid in the tanks for pads. I fill my tank and use pump, it takes a long time for a full tank to freeze. Keep furnace running, electric heater or fireplace will not heat basement and will trick furnace into shutting off.

Just below freezing Friday night.Should I pour about 1/2 gallon in black and 1/2gallon in gray tank and keep valves closed?I guess other option is to buy a heated fresh water hose and leave valves open?

Unless your high temp is going to be 27 or you expect below freezing temp for over 6 hours you should need not anything special. At the most I would put water in your tank. Have camped with night temps in high single digits but daytime around 40 with nothing more than using water in tank and running heater at night which keeps tanks warm.

I've camped at 12 degrees with no tank heaters so you shouldn't have any problem. As team bradford said, be sure to set your thermostat so it will come on once in a while so as to heat your basement. I usually set mine at around 60 or 62 degrees and that is sufficient with no other heat source to keep the basement and tanks warm.
