Our Good Sam Roadside Assistance is expiring at the end of January. We originally got the plan for 2 years at a cost of $99 at the RV show in Harrisburg, PA. This plan includes any vehicles owned by us. Good Sam offered to extend our plan another 2 years for $149.95. Is this reasonable? Any better plans out there? AAA? Thanks for your input!
That sounds like a great price I just paid $115.00 for 1 year with AAA. Thats with RV, trailer and Motorcycle.

I had AAA for 30+ years and switched to Good Sam Roadside Assistance 4 years ago when we bought the Montana, mostly because it covered all of our vehicles. Sad to say I had to use it for the 1st time yesterday, on my car fortunately, not my RV. My experience was not good. My car was in my garage at home and would not start. Called GS and told them my car (gave them make and model)would not start and had a new battery, they could try to jump start it but if it didn't work we needed it towed to our dealer 2 miles away. I was told that we would have to pay for the tow. If they tried to start the vehicle and it didn't work then it was considered a 2nd incident and we had to pay out of pocket. So we had it towed without trying to start it. Called to clarify with a manager today and was told the same thing. After referring them to their own brochure which stated it was covered, they backed off. How many fraudulent fees have they collected from people????

Many of the folks that answer the phone at all the roadside assistance companies have no clue as to what it cover/We have had that problem with about every plan we had. we carry a copy of the plan with us and we consult the plan so we can quote what is covered if there is a problem/.
