3850FL

I was wondering why Keystone doesn't list the 3850FL in their Big Sky line-up. The only models that they have listed are the 378RL, 382RL and the 385FB. I know that several members here have this model in the Big Sky package. Am I missing something? Tim

You have been able to buy any Monte with the Big Sky package until recently. Keystone has moved BS to its own line. All new floor plans are being introduced with their own numbers. BS and Montana are separate lines. You are still able to buy Monte with full body paint, but it does not have BS written on it. Hope this is helpful.

Larry does that mean you can not have the full body paint etc on a 3850? reason I ask is that the brother in law is very interested in this model but really likes the added features of the Big Sky. Tim

Before Keystone split off the Big Sky into its own line this year we were on the fence about ordering our rig as a Big Sky. The major differences are: full body paint, LevelUp, G614 tires, radius shower, MorRyde and a remote. I believe you can order full body paint (without "Big Sky"). Everything else the 3850FL had as a Big Sky package can be ordered, possibly with the exception of the radius shower. The shower, believe it or not, is our biggest regret. The one our unit has is tiny!

HOOK and napria thanks for the information. I will pass along to my BIL and let him decide. We are planning to visit Goshen and tour the plant sometime in the next couple of months so they can see how the Montanas are built and ask questions. They are starting the search for their full time rig and I told them that Dea and I are sold on the Montana line. Great floor plans and excellent build quality IMHO.

It does seem that there are slight differences in the physical floor plans of the Montana vs. Big Sky models as they convert each model over. Nothing major, though.
