New Montana - #2 for us!

Well we did it!

Note the change in our signature. The trade bug bit us and we just had to make the move. Traded our 2003 3295RK for a new 2006 3475RL. Took delivery last Saturday. Needless to say it took us the entire day to move things from one unit to the other. Decided we would wait a long time before tackling all that work again. But than guess it is kinda like labor pains...once you are in the new unit you quickley forget how much work it was to move. So far we are truly enjoying our new Monty. Must say there is not as much storage area in this unit and the kitchen will take some getting use to as it is much smaller...an excuse to eat out more??? We are truly enjoying the two overstuffed recliners, much more comfortable than the one in our old unit. After delivery on Saturday we spent another two nights in the Atlanta area (bought from the same dealer we had two years ago - Camper City). The dealership did a good job on delivery prep as we have found very few items to put on our list. We headed further south on Tuesday and are now in the Orlando, FL area. Tom says this unit tows much smoother than the old unit. They have moved the kingpin back which puts the Montana closer to the tailgate of the tow vehicle. We do have an appointment on Nov. 3 at Tri Am in Ocala to have slide toppers installed. Then we will be setting up for the winter at the Encore
RV Park near Disney. If you are in the area this winter stop in and we will be happy to give you a tour.

Congrats Joyce and Tom on your new Monty!! Share in your excitment for the 3475 looks like a very nice unit. Life is full of trade offs and a smaller kitchen for eating out more often sounds good to me!! Enjoy and have many continued safe travels.
