Norcold fridge outside noise

We have had our 3160 for a couple of months now.
While sitting outside by the fridge vents , I notice a noise occasionally. It is not as loud as the noise made while fridge is running on gas but similar . Seems I am hearing it more and more often. I didn't notice it the first month .I have it set on auto mode, temp set at 7. Is this a normal noise? I don't always hear the noise when fridge is running. Also , the fresh food right hand door doesn't always latch . How often should the freezer be defrosted?

It may be the fan inside the outer compartment that aids in air flow across the cooling coils. Some of these are annoyingly loud. They are thermostatically controlled according to fin temperature while the frigde is operating.

Sounds about right. I won't worry so much that fridge is quitting on me before we head to TX for the winter. Thank you for your good advice

I have the same on my 3440RL with the 4 door Norcold. My 2005 mad NO noise, we have had no problems at all with the new refrigerator.
