Dometic slide topper replacement fabric

Hope this is correct forum for this question. I need to replace the fabric on my slide topper (dometic model 85097cq.1627). I don't want the standard fabric as didn't hold up like I would expect. Can anyone suggest a replacement fabric they have used are are happy with the results.

Sunbrella. Although I haven't used it on a slide topper, I have used it on a boat. It is pricy and it is not used often in the RV business but it is about the best there is. A boat canvas shop could do the job for you.

maybe try your local awning dealer that makes outside awning they might have a heavy duty fabric they can make the size to fit for you........

Carefree of Colorado makes awnings in different fabrics. I can't speak personally which one is better but you might want to check them out. Another company doing awnings is called Girard, not sure what they offer but there's a couple options....

I got a better grade off the web they cut to your dimentions just google Rv slide awnings I was pleased with the fabric

I had a local upholster shop make one out of herculite I think it was. it is a boat top mat. I talked to dometic at goshen and they said you could order from the factory. For alot less than the dealer I might add.
