The BLM, FS and NP websites are a good place to start. If you are looking at a particular area recommend googling it or asking a question here - there are also lots of state land options.

There is an app called Road Trip Planner that has an add-on for USFS and BLM campgrounds. It also shows KOA campgrounds now but you can block that feature if so inclined.

I think the Allstaays app will give you what you are looking for. You can filter for BLM, forest service, Walmart over night or no over night and dozens of others. You can break it down to the state and town you are looking for.

Another you might like is BLM campgrounds. I will cost you a buck. The Allstays app will set you back $10 and is well worth it.

I see that you are in Washington State, just a reminder that if you do end up on state land you will probably need a Discovery Pass. About a hundred dollar ticket if you get caught parked, camping or hunting etc on state land that you already pay taxes to help maintain. Sorry for the sarcasm, I try to find federal land whenever I can.
