Ok here it is.....

Montana Owners Club's Mission Statement

The Montana Owners Club Mission shall be to:

"To Provide Montana RV enthusiasts a calm and inviting atmosphere to exchange
valuable information, and enhance their general RV-ing experience."

The Montana RV Club is a club organized for the enjoyment of all owners of
Montana, Montana Big Sky 5th Wheels, Montana Mountaineer RVs or
any person who is planning on buying a Montana in their future.
If you own either brand (any model) you can add to the
enjoyment of your RV lifestyle and leisure time
by joining the Montana Owners Club.

Note...."or
any person who is planning on buying a Montana in their future' This was us.We did NOT own a Montana when we joined .The site was
recommended by a MOC member as a forum to learn about Montana's.. We did and we purchased one and we are still here. Had we purchased a Jayco we would be on the jayco forum.

I like the ..Calm and inviting atmosphere" part.

I guess my feelings are that rules are made by the administration. The administration can bend the rules as it sees fit. It's not up to any of us to make an issue of it. We do benefit from those who have moved on to SOB's. We can only hope they keep contributing and who knows maybe some will buy a Montana again in the future. I think this is a very welcoming group of people, so who would want to leave.

I think by letting these folks remain, they may come back from the dark side. I am joking, of course, but I think these folks have just as much to add as current owners. Besides, they are the only group I can call SOB's and get away with it.

Thanks for all your contributions and assistance, you SOB's!!!!!!!

I think we all know MOC members who have had a Montana, gone to SOB and then returned. If it happens once it can happen again. Enough!

My words to this post are as many have said, I have made quite a few friends and just because they purchased SOB I'm supose to drop his or her friendship? Not going to happen. it is up to MOC Administrator to make any decisions for this forum and I believe it should be discused by a PM to the administrator and not blasted out here on the forum to start a hurtful word war or a misunderstanding of print. thats my nickles worth.

As I've previously said, I have no problem with SOB members retaining their membership here. Having said that and repeated it, just because someone leaves the forum doesn't mean they take their friendship with them. I still have their e-mail address and we can still stay in touch -- if we want to.

This subject can be discussed until the cow's come home and pig's fly and in the end it means nothing. THE Montana Administrator owns and runs this forum and has made his/her decision.
It is my opinion that the actual owner of this forum, THE Montana Administrator, has the right to operate it the way he/she sees fit. Now if anyone happens to disagree they also have a decision to make, leave or live with it.
Personally, I would like to see THE Montana Administrator or one of his/her Admins lock this thread. As I see it the only purpose for this thread to continue is for everyone responding to add to their post count and also end it before someone starts flaming another.

Well, I don't see as to where any SOB owners going to a rally would make a hill of beans with anyone other than the ones at the rally. The forum, undoubtedly, that is a different thing.

BTW Glenn, perhaps that will help you get the thread locked. I seem to have a way.

Same here on the rallies. The rallies other than the national rallies are put together by individuals. The first G.L rally had some Everest owners there. I know of no guidelines. I would prefer Montana division owners and I would advertise the rally only on the Montana forum but If I put together the rallyI guess I can make the rules????

The Quartzsite rally is open to all MOC members, friends of MOC members and all SOB's.

BTW, there are only 156 days until the start of the Quartzsite Rally.

So what are you saying Rich, you would rather not have any SOB's at a Montana Rally? Until I am asked not to come to the rallies I will be there with my Montana version of my SOB. Just messing with you!!! :-)

Some nice post on this thread.
Thank you Sue.
I believe we SOB owners do have something to contribute. RVing is RVing and similarities abound in this gypsy life.

We loved our Montana and it served it's purpose well when we had it. I would and still recommend Montana to acquaintances and friends.
Still believe Montana has a lot of bang for the buck.

We have made so many friends in the MOC. We see some them often.

Steve, ol' buddy,I recommend you NOT take Vicki to see it.

Unfortunately, we saw their new rig too.....it is real nice, and NOT a Montana.....might be a few more SOB's in our crowd of friends.
