Ogliby Rd.

When we left Yuma we decided to take a new route. We headed west on 8 to Ogliby Rd. about 20 miles west of Yuma. Headed north on S-34. Lots of nothing out this direction. There are a few 14 day BLM camping sites out along this road.

About 2/3s of the way toward Blythe the road connects with hwy 78. That is the road that comes from the Salton Sea area. We continued east and north on 78 and came out just west of Blythe.

If you are looking for some solitude and or places to ride ATVs then this is the place to come. We then connected with US 95 on the California side of the river and drove into Needles. Then on up to Laughlin. Great weather.
