Does anyone know the measurements of the washer dryer area on the 3400rl...I am looking at a whirlpool stack that measures 76 inches high and 24 inches wide.

You had better check out how deep the area is so that you have room for venting. Our 3670 RL is 25 inches deep. If the uniits are deeper than tah you won't be able to close the door.

The depth is the most important. The Whirlpool stack unit fits and there are some members who have it. We went with the Splendide combo unit and love it. There was a post several months ago explaining your handle (login name). I sure would like to hear yours!

Well the etimology of my handle is simple...my first name is zach and last is zuroweste...the 1 is derived from being my second email address...therefore zzuroweste1 or zzuroweste1@hotmail.com. Thanks for the interesting inquiry.

Zach,
If you are having depth problems when allowing for the vent, there is available a flat vent. (It is flat for about a foot and then is round like the regular ones.) Ace Hardware shows one on their web site. Thanks for the explanation of your handle.

Ok,
So far I have been given great ideas on different things to use. I like the flat vent idea. That sounds very useful...if you could tell me what kind it is or if it is just an off brand at ace that would be great. Also someone mentioned a whirlpool model that works in our unit. Any idea what the model number is and the price. Third I am still looking for an exact measurement on the cabinet in the 2005 3400 rl...you guys are great and thands for all of the great information. I will be eagerly anticipating your responses.
Zach

Zach, we have the 3400RL and ordered the Majestic. They are right in CA. in the City of Industry. We have been waiting for the delivery, but they say that the backlog is tramendous. So we are still waiting. We just had the dealer order it when we ordered the coach since cost was really no problem. But had they told us that it wasn't going to be installed when the trailer was ready to be picked up we would have gone somewhere else. Don't know the measurements. Thats why we went with the dealer because we wanted a trouble free experience. Now we just have to wait. Kathi

Zach, I can't find the product at Ace any more but this place does have it. It is in the fourth row down and on the right end. It is called a Dryer Vent Periscope 19.99. I am hesitant to give you our measurements because I know there has been some changes in the 3400 since we bought ours (last Sept).

Need some Help fast.. We are in process of purchasing 3400RL, and based on the information here have purchased Whirlpool stack for installation. However our people tell us it won't fit because of the Rack required for the installation. We purchased from Sears, but I am sure same product. Can anyone contact us and tell us is there an answer or secret to installation?
