5th Wheel Hitch

Hi All,

We are picking up our brand new Montana tomorrow (3650RK) hurray! We can't wait to get it and look forward to many happy years of fifth wheeling. So far, it seems like everyone enjoys the Montana, so count in another Montana user!

I have a question and would appreciate any help. The dealership wants to install a Reese 15K sliding hitch, $700 installed. Does this seem like a good price? They mentioned I could upgrade to a 16K sliding hitch for $200 more, which gives me a four way tilt. Is this worth the $200 or not? Is it necessary?

Thanks for your help!
