What service do you use to forward mail when your gone 2 to 4 months? Other than family and friends.

We fulltime and use Americas Mailbox in Box Elder, South Dakota (just east of Rapid City). They are very good and have a variety of plans.

This will be our fifth winter away, and we stay about four months. We have used the regular USPS mail forwarding without problems. Our first winter away, we tried USPS Premium Mail Forwarding. This service worked well, but is very expensive...$17.00/week this year compared to $1.05 total.

The main difference between the two, besides price, is the premium service forwards everything once a week. The regular service only forwards first class and not magazines.

Most full timers use one of the commercial mail forwarding services.
