What's the temperature in your neighborhood now?

My father was born in Tupper Lake, NY. I've been through Lake Placid, but never stop for any length of time. All of the Adirondacks are beautiful with 6.1 million acres of the Adirondacks Park.

The Adirondacks Park is larger than Glacier, Yellowstone, Yosemite, The Everglades, and the Grand Canyon COMBINED!

Lake Placid is the heart of the Adirondacks Park.

It is 62 with a high of 68 and 40% showers. We like this cooler summer for our hiking. Being from Nashville we are fleeing the 90s.

They serve a lot of Vermont's Green Mountain brand coffee here. It is only 40 crow-air miles from here about.

Really enjoying it here.
