Electrical problems

Hello I'm new to this site. I own a 99 Montana 5 the wheel. I'm having electrical problems. When I try to run my window AC's I throw a breaker . Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.
I'm guessing you have a 30A rig?
Which breaker?
The pedistal breaker?
If so you may be over powering your circuit.
A 30A circuit should run 1 AC and some other appliances.
It is possible to run 2 ACs but they will need to have a "SoftStartRV" installed in them.
A window AC?
Is this an add on with a separate power cord?
If so, maybe try plugging it into an extension cord and running it from a different internal breaker. There could be other things on that breaker that is NOT labeled. I have a 2019 and I have had to re-lable several of my breakers because more devices are connected than what they listed from the factory.
OR, run the extension cord to the pedistal directly,
JUST FOR TESTING.
Do not leave it plugged into the pedistal, that is against electrical code. I Don't know why, I have just read that on other sites.

Yes, a 1999 Montana is 50 amp, but not the 50 amp used today. They have a 30 amp breaker and a 20 amp breaker in the fuse box to make 50 amps. Different from today's dual 50 amp breakers.

As Daryles wrote, be sure your cord for the window AC is plugged into a house circuit that can support 20 amps or the outside power pole.
