Second solar panel

Has anyone added a second panel to a factory installed single panel system, mine is a 2020. If so what was the process and what if any had to be changed or added?

Which controller do you have and whats the wattage of your existing panel?

I called Jaboni on mine and they said to get another 265 watt panel and parallel them together. Which im fine with, just have not done it yet as I am looking to go a totally different route.

Buy a second panel and a set of parallel splitters. If you can't get the second panel within 30" of the docking port you'll need a set of extension cables.

Try to line the 2nd panel up with a sean in the roof so you hit rafters with your lag screws. Put Eternabond tape under the feet and use self leveling sealant over the screws and feet.
