Campgrounds in Gulf shores Alabama
Hi all , Looking to plan a trip to gulf shores this summer. Does anyone have any recommendations to campgrounds near or on the beach?

Gulf Shores state park is nice, you can walk to the beach

There are a great many CGs around Gulf Shores. Try Trailer Life's Directory or Woodalls.

We are headed to Gulf State Park this Sunday for 2 months. It is nice in the summer also. Nice big sites, nice very clean bathhouses and laundry if you need them, and a wonderful pool and a quick walk or ride to the beach. Wonderful bike trails. But like said in above posts, make reservations now especially if over the weekend.

Gulf State Park is our winter weekend get-away since we live 60 miles east. Great area. Summer should be no problem since most of the snow Yankee's will be gone.

Check out; BayBreeze On The Bay on hwy 180w(Ft Morgan Pkwy) http://www.baybreezerv.com/. We stay there twice a year, in the spring and the fall. Can't beat Paulette and Jerry(owners)and Mike(manager, very courteous, friendly and professional. Not on the beach(2 miles)but on bay. Take a look at web site. You will have to make reservations well in advance.
