;Mor/ryde X Factor

Has anyone installed the X-factor braces?
If so, why and your results and thoughts.

Yes, I have them installed. I had a spring hanger that was broken and the other side was bent. While having this repaired by Moryde, they recommended adding the braces. I gave it some thought and decided to add them to help support the spring hangers. So far all is well and the hangers appear to be holding properly.

I had my dealer install the X Factor system on my 09` 3400 along with the wet bolt/shackle kit. So far so good. The junk shackles and hardware they took off were enough for me to say glad I did it. Will they prevent a spring hanger from breaking who knows! Short of having brackets welded on the hangers, which I was told would void my warranty on the frame, I am addressing the issue the best I can at this point. Replaced the GY Marathons with G-614`s also. Shame I had to put all that money into it, but it is what it is!

I have replaced the 'E' rated tires with G614's as well. The tires and the X Factor have given me a bit more peace of mind while traveling. We will see how it all works over the next couple of years. I was having the wet bolt kit and new brakes/wheels installed when the spring hanger had broken. So now I feel better about my risks.

I added the center X-Factor only. It was a perfect snug fit. I installed it while I was adding the wet bolt/HD shackles kit.
