A big yes to both questions. We drive mostly on California highways....which are perpetually torn up. As the passenger, I am happy we invested in the Mor Ryde system. I noticed a big difference from our previous coach. We had a 3400 without Mor Ryde and just purchased a 3455 with the system. Clearly the trailers are virtually the same size and weight...but the ride is far more comfortable in our new trailer.
