where is hot water bypass?

I have owned smaller trailers and winterized and have always found the bypass valve for the hot water heater. On my 2000 3280 I can't find the valve. Behind the hot water heater is the stove but no valve that I can find. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks Dennis

On my 2007 it is in the convenience center with all the water connections and other selector switches. Don't know about earlier models.

My 2000 2850RK didn't have a WH bypass when I bought it new ... I had to put one in. Since you advertise you own a 2000 ... you may not have one. Convenience centers didn't come along in the Montana world till around 05 I think.

Wow .... thanks for the information ... I sure hope the valve is under the tv . I must have one as there is nothing in the water heater as the plug is out and the water lines are full of red liquid. I can check it out Thursday..
Thanks Dennis

If I remember right ours on 2001 3295RK was on the back side of the hot water heater. There were a few valves you had to switch. Hope this helps.

Well our first TT, a 1991 Prowler had a ByPass valve mounted right on the back side of the Water Heater between the inlet and outlet lines, our 2006 Gulfstream Conquest had a series of valves in the lines on the back of the heater that needed to be closed and opened to effect ByPass. Everythinng since has had the ByPass in the Convenience Center.

Like you deducted if the plug is out and antifreeze is in the rest of the lines ... you must have one. They are most always right on the back of the WH as one valve is placed in-between the inlet and outlet lines. On my 2005 2980RL I had to remove a wood grating on the side of the L shaped cabinetry as the water pump, WH, and hose with isolator valve you stick in the antifreeze bottle was under there.

I have a 2004 3280.The water heater bypass is behind the water heater.
Pull off the grill under the countertop next to the oven. It should be in the water line there. kj
