Used to put parts of swim noodles on there and then I bought some permanent rubber corners at Camping World. Stopped the bleeding, but it still hurts.

Will have to add the corners. By the time that the bleeding stopped I think I was a quart low.  Since I am a Civil War reenactor I can save face by saying that I took a saber blow to the forehead to preserve the Union.

Another good spot to get the forehead and top of the head dented is the front storage/basement door and also the hitch! Don't know why Keystone doesn't put two swinging doors in the front storage area. On the newer rigs they already have one for the battery/hydraulics access and two swinging doors would work out beautiful. That lifting door and the hook latch is just not kosher and really dangerous especially to the "old noggin"! Don't ask how I know!  Hope Keystone reads this one!

Swim noodles are the first thing to go on once the bedroom slide comes out. Been there, done that just too many times before.

I have found it easier to NOT even wear a hat when working around slides or under the front end as even ball caps block your upper peripheral vision. I have neck problems and a head cut heals faster than a jammed neck. The hat may take the prevent a bad cut but it transfers the impact to the neck..

Guess I'm lucky, Short enough to clear the bedroom slide. BUT, the storage hatch cost me a few aspirins. Still learning the new hazards.

Ok I use black pipe insulators. They are black and already split in tow with adhesive tape. Come in long links for custom sizing. Looks could and I never remove them. Says in place! They look like noodles. I just got tired of headaches. Lol
