NEW Montana Design Problems

If you just purchased a NEW montana made after October, you now have their newly re-designed model.

You will have 2 issues. The first is the DVD player, it is not set properly....even though strapped....IT WILL FALL OUT! You need to secure the DVD a different way than what Montana has done with only the strap.

Secondly, the new closet doors WILL fall apart....even if latched together. Two of the 4 door panels are not connected at the bottom and will flop around as you drive....yes, a poor design. You need to figure out a way to secure the doors so you won't damage them.

I think the DVD player is a new issue, but if you search past threads you'll find that keeping the closet doors shut is an issue for any age. I added extra strong magnetic clasps from Lowes, others have added stronger similar latches to what Keystone put on, still others use child safety latches and other types of holders.

Are these doors to the bedroom closet? or ones by the door? I haven't had a probelm with either in my older model.

the topic is only related to the OCT, 2013, and after models, NOT models prior to october, 2013. the closet doors are a NEW design and not working for those of us who travel.

Montana redesigned both areas, the bedroom closets are a new design and the living tv cabinet is totally different.

as for the DVD, the simple fact is that it doesn't fit correctly and falls out of the new designed cabinet.
