12 Volt Lights Blinking when off Shore Power

The last couple of times that I turned on some of the 12 Volt lights when not connected to shore power they blink, go off, and come back on. As they go off and on I can hear a clicking sound in what I think is the area of the converter. Anyone else had this problem? Everything works fine when on shore power. I fear there is something wrong with the converter?

The converter would only be working when connected to shore power, so it's probable that your converter is just fine.

The clicking could be your refrigerator trying to light - the clicking might be coming from the control board. I have seen this happen when battery power is quite low.

I would guess that your battery(ies) are in need of replacement.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll check the battery and connections. Usually when the battery is low the lights just dim. Also, I assumed that the battery was OK since the front jacks and rear stabiizers work with no problem. Makes since that the converter is not a factor when not hooked up to shore power.

I am wondering if it could be your "other" auto reset circuit breaker. By "other" I mean the one that is not the one for the slide pump. At least on my 3075RL, I have one breaker for the slide pump and one breaker for everything else. I have never heard of anyone having a problem with the "other" breaker, but the momentary on/off symptom is essentially the same symptom as when the slide breaker starts failing, heats up and opens/cools down and closes. And clicks each time it does it.
The breakers are cheap and an easy change out and may be worth a try.

Thanks BB TX. Those are the very same symptoms. I'll look at the breakers. The breakers are in the front near the pump, right?

On my '07 they are just below the slide pump. The one on the left is for the slide pump, the one on the right is all else, at least on mine.
