AC CONTROL DOMETIC

how does A.C. CONTROL cover come off? Fan will not shut off have heard I need to check connections. Any help

Dave, assuming you are talking about the dometic ccc2 thermostat, there is a point on the middle bottom that must be pushed in to release and then you can rotate the bottom out and push upwards to release the top clip area. The only connection to the thermostat is a four pin telephone cable. Are you sure the fan speed hasn't been changed from auto? John

Be careful when you remove it and gently pull the thermostat off as the connector isn't mounted well to the circuit board and you can pull the connector off if you aren't careful. Don't ask me how I know.

You also can try a reset of the system, assuming you can turn the whole thing off. You simultaneously press mode and zone until INIT is displayed and then press the on/off button to exit the setup mode.

If your FAN setting is on anything but AUTO the fan will not shut off! Make sure FAN is on AUTO first before tearing into it.
