Final Move?
Truck sold last month and we are moving the Montana to a different CG in central Illinois. It will serve as a "on and off" summer home while up north visiting family.
The new CG has good rates and you can leave your RV stored on your own site for $2.00 a day when unplugged and not in use.
It is kind of sad this morning after borrowing my friend's 1-ton and preparing to do a tow that could be our last. I know we are going to miss the freedom of traveling full time.
Everyone who belongs and contributes to the MOC should be proud of this site. From the time I joined right up until a couple weeks ago (posts on winterizing) I have gotten good reliable advise on all kinds of topics related to my Montana, and RVing in general.
Along with RV related issues MOC members are always supportive and sympathetic to members in need. This is truly a one-of-a-kind site that we were lucky to be a part of.

Don't be a stranger either! You still have the Montana and even if you didn't you should still stick around!

Wow, another major contributor is leaving? Captain Joe, Steelpony, among others. Now you, too? Bummer. Best wishes with wherever the road takes you.

Sambam... it does run in cycles. I remember I joined and within a year or two, some pretty involved members moved on. And it has cycled like that about every couple of years it seems.
But I've been patient. There have been others, even new MOC members that took over for the departed. There are many valid reasons, including SOBs, no more RVing and even passing away. I just have to expect that some day I will do the same and so shall you as well. Until then we'll keep up the friendships, helpfulness and especially asking for help.

Well, don't be a stranger. You still have much to contribute and life changes so you may even be back on the road again some day.
